LWDA 20 serves ten parishes in South Louisiana:  
Ascension, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, Tangipahoa, 
St. Helena, Washington, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana. 
 

Local Workforce Development Area Twenty is diverse geographically and economically, but our goal remains the same; to partner with local business by helping put qualified, trained and job-ready individuals to work!

 

Our purpose is to advance the economic well-being of the area by:

  Developing and maintaining a quality workforce
  Serving as the focal point for local and regional workforce development initiatives, and
  Providing an integrated, effective system of employment, education, training, support, and economic development services for job seekers, workers and employers.
